Part-time hours: 15-30 per week
Day range:
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
• Saturday availability

Our Salon is located at 555 Dundas Street. We specialize in wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, Mother of the bride/groom, veils, bridal jewelry, other bridal accessories, formal wear and tuxedo rentals. We strive to bring the best customer service experience to all our brides, grooms and their loved ones.


Tansy’s Bridal & Formal Wear is the authorized retailer for bridal designers such as Jadore, Casablanca, Lis Simon & more. We are continually investing in our inventory with new designers every year. 


We are seeking highly motivated, hardworking, super friendly Bridal Consultant to provide Brides-To-Be with an exceptional customer service experience during one of the happiest times of their life. You will help brides in all aspects of formal wear for their wedding day including finding the dream bridal gown, veil, and accessories as well as selecting perfect bridesmaid dresses & tuxedo rentals. We provide an excellent supportive work environment, so you can perform at your best. Successful candidates should have previous sales experience and possess excellent communication skills.

  • Responsible for giving our brides a fabulous, friendly and professional experience while shopping for their wedding dress.
  • Provide exceptional customer service experience to brides and their families by listening and identifying their individual gown criteria, i.e., whether they are looking for a romantic ball gown, fit-and-flare dress, mermaid gown, destination wedding dress or something in-between.
  • Learn quickly about our designer collections, styles, quality, and service.
  • Demonstrate bridal product knowledge including sizing, style, and accessory options.
  • Properly measure customers and submit new orders to designers
  • Handling deliveries, unpacking and steaming new dresses and veils.
  • Be a great team player by doing your part to keep the store in perfect condition, including stocking, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, trunk show preparation, and light cleaning.
  • Respond to customers emails and phone call inquiries in a professional timely manner.
  • Assist with content for our website and social media pages such as Instagram, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
  • Assist with all customer needs, such as gown pick-ups, and special-order requests.
  • Meet and maintain sales goals.


• Commission Payments for all sales.
• A portion of paid consultation booking fees are yours when you book clients into a fitting room.
• A portion of paid VIP experience package fees are your when you book clients for an experience.
• Training to be provided to the successful candidate.
• Friendly supportive atmosphere.
• Flexible hours/shifts. Weekend availability is a must.
• Free parking available at rear of building.


• Previous experience in a similar position or in a bridal field is a great asset!
• Fluent English (oral & written) is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Hard Worker & Multitasker.
• Super Friendly & Outgoing Personality.
• High School Diploma.
